another version of Magic Light which I guess explains all about mysterious line
Comments
Mm, I agree with the above critique - I enjoy this more than Magic Light as well (composition is more solid); I can't decide though whether I miss the light rings on the water that were present in Magic Light - although they broke the overall layers of the work, they also made it more engaging...

I think those photos are just different and maybe even shouldn't be compared...but it's my opinion and the more different opinions, the better thank you for your comment I'll think about what was said here for sure -- The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it. They stand alone as perfectly good photos - just seeing both of them gives ideas for other potential compositions, and I got carried away -- Contest Admin and Traditional Art Critic for *Critique-It Submissions Admin for *Traditional-Artists Misc. I don't feel offended or something and I can understand that many ppl may compare them just because it is the same place and almost same time I just said what I think feel free to say whatever you need as long as it doesn't offend other ppl -- The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it. Critiques
I like this better than Magic Light because of the expanded view. Giving definition to your horizon really helps to frame the whole image and let the viewer know exactly what they're looking at.
The exposure is well done, very little grain/noise for a low light photo.
It's certainly not the first of its kind I've seen, but it's hard to photograph something that hasn't been before. Your interpretation is one of the better ones.
You may be a purist as far as editing goes, but myself, I'm OK with editing to match what I saw in my mind. On that note, I might have tried to clone out the few imperfections in the water, like the highlighted line above the foreground silhouette in the water.
